【unconscious, conscious, ego】
If you have understood the contents of the blog so far, you are ready to consider "what you are".
Let's think about it step by step.
First, let's consider "unconscious," which means the absence of "consciousness."
All matter is a combination of quanta, and so is your body.
Therefore, naturally matter is in the state of "unconsciousness".
Matter that is "unconscious" is in a "superposition" = coherent state of all universes.
Therefore, it can be said that the "unconscious" area is in a coherent state.
A living organism that maintains dynamic equilibrium in four-dimensional space-time is just one physical phenomenon that obeys the laws of physics.
Your body is also pure matter, working mechanically, always in coherence.
If so, it is natural that coherent quantum properties appear in the life activity of the body.
In addition, "time" seen from the perspective of matter is nothing more than a coordinate system that does not differ from the three-dimensional space, and it covers all time from time 0 to ∞ at once.
In other words, the ``unconscious'' within the material ``you'' has a comprehensive view of the universe of all patterns, from the distant past to the distant future.
From your point of view, the home of the "unconscious" is a "sensory organ," "first brain," and "second brain," but from the point of view of the non-localized "unconscious," it is limited. There is no place.
Consciousness, on the other hand, is a qualia that occurs only in life with nerve cells, and is a physical phenomenon, not a substance.
Only through this "consciousness" can you perceive the world for the first time.
However, it is the "unconscious" area that directly senses the world, and the "conscious" constructs a "brain world model" from a part of the "unconscious" information and senses the world.
Also, since "consciousness" is a system that can only sense one time and place in one pattern of the universe, the world seen from the perspective of "consciousness" is always a decoherence world.
The dwelling place of this "consciousness" is also the "third brain" from your point of view, but from the point of view of "consciousness" that does not have the subject of "you", the "brain world model" is the whole world. , in which there is no place in which the Self is limited.
And the continuous sense when looking at the information of "consciousness" from the past to the present in the "brain world model" was "ego".
When you reach this ``ego'', you will find ``yourself'' in that little body.
Let's consider "unconsciousness", "consciousness" and "ego" using DVD as an example.
Here is a DVD on which "all the information of the universe" is recorded.
You can see the contents of the DVD as an image on the display.
The DVD at this time corresponds to "unconsciousness".
The image projected on the display is "consciousness".
The “you” who is watching the image corresponds to the “ego”.
This DVD contains all of this world as "non-moving information", but the image that flows on the display can only be cut out for each moment.
Then, by continuously watching the moment-to-moment images, you can recognize the contents of the DVD as "moving images".
【You and the Clones, and "You"】
Of course, your body is the building block of ``you'', but if you lose them in an accident...
will you disappear?
Advances in medicine and science have made it possible to artificially create many parts of the human body.
It is said that in the near future, if the technology to replace your physical functions is perfected, you may not disappear.
Is it really so?
Suppose that human body cloning technology is perfected and all the information of "you" is perfectly copied.
Suppose you were able to face this completed "your clone" just before it disappeared.
At that time, would it be ``you'' who could call the clone ``I''?
Or is it "your clone"?
Yes, it's not a technical issue.
A copy, no matter how perfect, is just a copy.
cannot be original.
However, the clone should think of itself as the original.
No, everyone, including you, is like a clone in some way.
Because if you trace its roots, you will end up with the same life form.
However, be careful not to confuse "you" in a universe with exactly the same pattern as "the universe you live in".
The two "you" in this case are not copies, they are both originals.
But what separates "you" from "the clone"?
And isn't the answer "your essence"?
Let's remember when "you" came face-to-face with a "clone".
"You" couldn't say "I" to the "clone".
This is because the ``me'' looking at the ``clone'' is felt within himself.
That feeling is nothing but the "ego" that oversees the bundle of "consciousness" that continues unbroken from the past.
And since "consciousness" is a part of "unconsciousness" cut out and processed, "consciousness" itself is nothing more than a device that connects "unconsciousness" and "ego".
If so, the essence of "you" would be defined as follows.
“You” is the symbiotic state of “unconsciousness and ego”.
【war in you】
The coherent "unconscious" realm is the physical world itself.
It is a uniform world with no special things, no special places, no observing subjects, and no observed objects.
Therefore, the "unconscious" has no subject, only physical matter and energy are manifested on the time axis according to the laws of nature.
By the way, the DNA that programs your body is also an "unconscious" substance, but there is a system that is oriented to "species preservation" at work.
Therefore, DNA controls the judgments you make and the resulting actions from the realm of "unconsciousness" so that they conform to "species conservation."
Of course, it does not mean that DNA thinks something and gives orders.
Ultimately, it means that there is a mechanism in the composition of DNA that makes the result of substances appearing according to the laws of nature suitable for "conservation of species."
On the other hand, the “ego” has a subject called “you”.
"Ego" tries to predict the environment that will occur in the future based on the information from the past to the present in the "brain world model".
It is your individual trying to adapt to future environmental changes.
In other words, the "ego" is oriented toward the "preservation of the individual."
"Species conservation" and "individual conservation" are fine as long as the resulting behaviors of both are in agreement, but sometimes they contradict each other.
Here, the war between the "unconscious" and the "ego" breaks out within "you."
Consider the story of the ant and the grasshopper.
Ali works hard every day.
Ali was thinking.
"When winter comes, we'll run out of food, so let's stock up now."
But the grasshopper, ignorant of such an idea, teases the ant.
``It would be a shame not to play on such a sunny day, there is so much to eat,'' he said.
Then winter came...
Needless to say, the grasshopper is the "unconscious" and the ant is the "ego".
(However, I think that real insects have "consciousness" but do not have "ego".)
In this case, it can be interpreted that the grasshopper's "unconsciousness" was oriented toward "preservation of the species" and that it tried to avoid labor that would overwork the body.
Certainly, the stage is the season when there is plenty of food, so it might be a good idea to play and rest your body.
Even if it causes the death of the "individual" grasshopper in the future, he is not the only grasshopper.
If it is a more excellent grasshopper, it will survive in some way, and for "species preservation", leaving the excellent grasshopper's genes will be more suitable for the purpose.
Since the ant's "ego" is oriented to "preserve the individual", as a result of predicting the future environment that "food will run out in winter", the "individual" will survive the winter safely, even if it means sacrificing a little body. It can be interpreted that he chose to work so that he could pass.
I suspect that "you" have had similar experiences frequently.
It's a familiar type of experience: "I know it in my head, but I can't stop."
"Species Conservation" and "Individual Conservation" collide in many situations, but sometimes they coincide.
That is when it is advantageous for "species conservation" to preserve the individual.
We will discuss the details later.
By the way, to the grasshopper's credit, I'm sure he knew it in the back of his mind.
His "ego" was defeated by the "unconscious".
I don't think it's someone else's problem.
